Green Man

I was commissioned to create triggers for an Augmented Reality trail, and 20-foot inflatable sculpture for the Nottingham Light Night 2020, which took place on 7th & 8th February. The AR triggers told this unique love story ‘Looking for love, our Nottingham Heroine, decides to take the plunge and go on a magical blind date with the mysterious ‘Ern’. Throughout the date they see the sites of Nottingham, and she notices that that there is more to Ern than meets the eye. As their date progresses

Jason was chosen to act as artist in residence sponsored by Barclays, on a Jubilee Sailing Trust Tall Ship, The Lord Nelson. Jason set sail from Sunderland on 11th April and arrived a few days later in Newcastle. "I am very proud to be asked to do this. It's a huge honour to be asked to make art on the high seas on a fully accessible tall ship." The image to the left shows the unveiling of the resulting artwork onboard the Lord Nelson ship.
